Wireless Internet Field Installation and Maintenance Technician
Impact Internet is a fixed wireless home internet provider looking for a Field Technician. The Field Technician is responsible for installation and servicing of Impact Internet’s customers internet services.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform installations of customer internet service at their homes
- Roof mount antennas on customer roof and run cabling into the home
- Configure indoor internet routers and customer Wi-Fi access points
- Provides positive customer support both during installs and service calls
- Locate optimal placement for equipment
- Installation of equipment
- Perform site surveys
- Track and document the progression of work
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues
- Provide verbal or written instructions for our internet service
- Build relationships and trust with customers
- Travel daily to and from customer’ residence or business in company provided vehicle
- Ability to pivot work hours when demand warrants
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Ability to assist customers patiently and consistently
- Understanding of basic technology
- Familiarity with power and hand tools
- Ability to climb and work on a ladder
- Problem Solving
- Deductive reasoning
- Ability to operate handheld mobile devices
- Detail-oriented and able to stay on task
- Ability to crouch and kneel while working
- Valid Drivers’ License
